Bus tour to the Linen King in Gavrilov Yam, a city located in 50 km from Yaroslavl. At the First Guild Merchant Lokalov’s Linen Manufacture Museum located in the building of a former parochial school you will discover the story of the linen industry development, find out about merchant Lokalov and his workers. There are many authentic exhibits and documents at the museum. A tea-drinking party “in the English style” concludes the tour. There are many linen products at the museum shop. Next stop is the Aurika’s Gardens pottery enterprise. Check the furnaces which are exact replicas of 18th century furnaces, visit the production facilities where a piece of clay will turn into a masterpiece right before your eyes.
