Bus tour of Petrozavodsk with a visit to the cathedral. Folk show by The Karelian National Song and Dance group “Kantele”. Return to the ship after the concert on foot. Tour length -  3.5 hours.

You can also rent bikes to explore the island on your own. Don’t miss the Negotiation Stone and other attractions of the island. We also recommend an amazing boat trip across the lake and river canals of Solovki. There are more than 400 lakes on Solovki with considerably different water levels. The construction of Solovetsky monastery resulted in the growth of the population and a corresponding increase in demand for potable water. The lack of rivers forced the settlers to connect lakes with canals. The canal system was started by the abbot Philippe (1548-1566) about 400 years ago. 78 lakes have been connected into a single Drinking Water System which feeds the Holy Lake. The distance from the tourist office to the boat station is 2.8 km. Pella rowing boats for up to 5 people are available there. Tourists operate the boats themselves.
