Walking tour to the Embroidery Museum. Chuvash embroidery is a unique phenomenon of world culture, and a hallmark of this people. Bus tour to the Chapaev Museum. The exhibitions of the museum introduce visitors to the life and work of the legendary division commander, tell tourists about Chapaev’s studies at the General Staff Academy, his participation in wars, his battles against Kolchak, and his struggle for the establishment of the Soviet regime, and display his military decorations. The horse-drawn Machine-gun platform tachanka, Chapaev’s burka (traditional men’s coat), his sword, saber, revolver, pistol, rifle, Maxim machine gun , and horse saddles allow visitors to take an imaginary time machine back to the era of the Civil War.
Among the exhibits of great interest are genuine documents and photographs, four crosses and a medal of St. George, an Order of the Red Banner and a questionnaire personally filled by Chapaev.
After visiting the museum tourists are transported to the Akkond confectionery shop where they will participate in a candy tasting, as well as shopping at the Hosiery and Knitwear Factory. After completion of the itinerary, tourists will return to the River Terminal.
