This four-deck comfort ship (project 301) was built in Germany and is equipped with modern navigation equipment. The maximum passenger capacity on board of the ship is 309 passengers and 115 crewmembers.

Passengers have at their disposal: two restaurants, a bar with a dance hall, a panorama bar, an open side porch, a solarium on the sun deck, a meeting room, a reading and music room, medical center and an ironing room.

Passenger accommodation: 1, 2 and 3 berth cabins are available on the boat, middle, main and lower decks. There are also luxury “Semi-Suite” and “Suite” cabins available on board. Each cabin includes a bathroom (shower, toilet and washbasin), air-conditioning, fridge, TV and internal phone.

Access to free Wi-Fi is provided in public places on board.

Tour length - 2 hours. 2) Tour to the Leather Craft Workshop Museum. Learn about the history of one of the oldest crafts, the leathercraft of Uglich, the production of leather in Russia, the history of the legendary Russian calf leather. Visit an exhibition of antiques and see reconstructed ancient pieces, take a look at original models of leather making equipment of the 17-19th century. Learn about contemporary art: leather carving, embossing, sculptures. At the end of the tour, each of the visitors will be able to briefly become an artisan and create a magnet, take pics with the exhibits, or read his/her fortune on runes. Visit the Alexey Monastery. The tour lasts 2 hours (for groups of 15 people and more). 3) Walking tour to the Hydroelectric Power Museum. (Group size: 20+.) 4) Tour to the Vintage Scooter Bike Museum. Find out about the evolution of the bicycle. The museum displays the 19-20^th century bicycles, sports bicycles and leisure bicycles, bikes for adults and kids, etc. Ride any of the museum exhibits! You will hear the story of Peter Smirnoff, view different types of alcohol stills and see a display of antique bottles. Tour length - 30 minutes. Due to security regulations at the docks of North River Terminal all baggage is subject to inspection and passengers are required to walk through a metal detector. To avoid delays, we advise you to check-in well ahead of your scheduled departure time. The check-in and boarding areas can be accessed from the terminal square on either side of the station building. Rates are discounted for children 14 and under.
Children 5 and under sail for free (seats at the restaurant and excursion tours are not included), only if there is no berthing space available, and only with the consent of the cruise manager. If there is berthing space available where children 5 and under can be accommodated, then child fares for the corresponding cabin categories apply.
We charge 2,500 Rubles per day for accommodating children without a berthing space (5 and under).
The cruise package includes: three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), the trip itself, bed linens, excursions as outlined in the cruise program, and entertainment.
The additional payment for a single accommodation in Suites and Semi-Suites and S/S 1 is 80% of the cost of the main berthing space.
Single accommodation in a double berth single-story cabin increases the cost by 65%.
Single accommodation in double berth single-story cabins No. 403, 404, 423-426, 319-322, and 341-344 increases the cost by 50%.
Single accommodation in double berth two-story cabins is calculated as category 1.
Double berth accommodation in triple cabins of category 2B increases the cost of every berthing space by 20%.
The cost of each additional berthing space in Suites is calculated as category 1B.

Nikolay Karamzin (1766-1826)

Russian writer and historian.

In the early 90’s of the XVIII century Karamzin began publishing the "Moscow Journal", which played a major role in the development of literary interests and tastes of the educated Russian society at that time. This magazine is full of his works, one of which is Letters of a Russian Traveler, Karamzin tells of his impressions from trips to Germany, Switzerland, France and England. "The letters" contain many descriptions of nature but also the characteristics of cultural life in European countries. The deep admiration for Western culture, which permeates Letters of a Russian Traveler was of great educational value for the time.

The journal also contained two of Karamzin's novels Poor Liza and Natalia, the Nobleman’s Daughter, which clearly reflected the main sentimental ideas used in Western literature at the time. Poor Liza was a huge success and caused a lot of literary responses and imitations. In this story, despite the conventionality of its images, it was close to the realities of life, which carried a strong impression on readers.

Probably the greatest achievement of Karamzin was his reformation of the Russian literary language. He rid the Russian literary language of Slavonicisms and long and complicated words of the Latin-German design. He introduced a lot of new words and expressions, partly created by himself, partly taken from the ancient literary works he had studied as a historian.

The public views of Karamzin were largely contradictory, characteristic of most educated Russian people of his time. His passion for preaching for the freedom of Russia was in stark contrast with the fact that he himself owned serfs.
