Tetyushi

Tetyushi, is the city at the heart of Tetyushinsk district of the Tatar Autonomous Republic. The pier is on the right bank of the Kuibyshev Reservoir, 129 km downstream from Kazan and 45 km to the east of the railway station Bois (on the Kazan–Ulianovsk line). It is an industrial and teaching center with food and beverage production (factories for milk, and meat, and a mill, a brewery and a fish processing plant), a wood processing plant, an asphalt factory; a technical vocational school, and a teacher training college. There's also a local history museum. Tetyushi was founded in the 16th century.
