MV Alexander Grin (project PV 08) was built in 2012 by the Nobel Brothers Shipyard (Rybinsk), using individual body elements of the Austrian vessel project Q-065.
Project PV08 was designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau on commission from the company Mosturflot.
MV Alexander Grin was put into operation on June 9, 2012.
The maximum passenger capacity of the ship is 112 people. The number of crew and maintenance staff is 78 people.
On the ship, there are 56 comfortable cabins, each of which has a balcony, a double bed, a large bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, satellite TV, a hairdryer, a safe, a radio, an electrical outlet with 220 V and 110 V connections, internal and external telephone, Wi-Fi, as well as satellite television and internet. The area of the cabins is between 14 and 24 square meters. An elevator connects all the decks of the ship. A large upper outdoor deck with lounge chairs provides recreation for the tourists. On the main deck there is a restaurant, bar, hair salon, massage parlor, medical center, and a comfortable reception area.
New, modern engines, equipment, and techniques for navigation, control and automation ensure safe use of the vessel in all conditions, including cruises on the Ladoga and Onega lakes. The ship meets high environmental standards.
